of Children and Their Sorceries is the second EP from Black Leather Birds, the solo experimental project of composer and producer A.G. Syjuco.
Built around five interconnected pieces, the record blends spoken word, experimental rock, electronic textures, and cinematic sound design into an immersive world where ordinary objects quietly accumulate extraordinary emotional weight. A cardboard box, an empty room, familiar rituals, and the spaces we call home become vessels for memory, grief, acceptance, and the invisible stories we carry with us.
Written after the experience of creating a family's first home, the EP reflects on how our lives inevitably leave fingerprints on the places we inhabit and the art we create. Rather than telling linear stories, each piece invites the listener to remain inside moments where the familiar gradually becomes uncanny, finding meaning not through spectacle but through stillness, atmosphere, and careful restraint.
